Liebster Award.

Last week because of a cold (later on I realized it was just allergies. Thanks Mom! Thanks Allegra!)  I did not post or check any notices.  I kept trying to figure out why the little star at the top right of the screen would not go away.

108fate (http://108fate.wordpress.com/author/108fate/) nominated me for a Liebster Award.  Say what?  My first award-I did not even prepare a speech.

With a great award comes great responsibility.  Here are the details.

The Liebster Award is given to a blog with under 200 followers.  (I probably should have double checked…)

11 Random Facts about Me!

1. It took me about two hours to decide on a name for my blog.
2. Romantic comedies were my crack.  Now, not so much.  They just don’t make them like they used to.
3. I can listen to the same song over and over again for more than one day.
4. One of my favorite movies is Homeward Bound.  And what!
5. Years ago, I had a cat that walked me to my car every morning and waiting on the side walk till I drove off.
6. I have been known to spend more than $75 on itunes downloads in less than a month.
7. My first year with a driver’s license, I had six car accidents.
8. The first time I drove standard, I drove into a wall at the university I was attending at the time.  (It should be noted that this happened a good 3 years after #7).
9. I despise washing dishes.
10. If I view more than two minutes of the Lifetime channel, I break out into hives. This may be an exaggeration but I can’t take it.
11. I always wanted to marry a Jim yet life gave me a Dwight. 🙂

1. What is one thing you want to accomplish before you die?

I would like to publish a book.  And have a baby.

2. What character in a movie or television do you most relate too?

Pretty much any Rashida Jones character on any NBC sitcom. Yes, I am dillusional and think I’m that cool. What?

3. Whats a lyric verse from a song that means alot to you? What is it and why?

I don’t mind if you don’t mind/Cause I don’t shine if you don’t shine Read My Mind- The Killers

Why?  It was the first dance song of my first wedding. It was also the song I was listening to the day I asked for a divorce and that line said it all.

4. What holiday is your favorite? Why?  Christmas! Why? Because it’s freakin’ Christmas!  Colorful lights are everywhere and Starbucks busts out all the yummy sugary coffees.  Holler!

5. If you could trade places with one person for a day, who would it be?  I love my life. 

6. What dead person would you love to meet?  My paternal grandmother, America. 

7. If given to the chance to be able to know HOW and WHEN you were going to die, would you? Why/why not? No- I don’t want to know.

8. Who is the one celebrity you’d love to punch in the throat?  Gwyneth Paltrow (goop- need I say more)

9. Best book ever read?  There is a Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom

10. You can only eat one food forever…what is it? burger. and fries.

11. Get a confession to someone off your chest.  To my husband- I did secretly enjoy the first Transformers movie.
